Yeah thanks, I know the places that sell tires. What I'm asking is any places you might know with the best prices/deals out there! I need them asap and I don't really want to get ripped off with some of those prices out there like TireRack as an example.

I'm researching right now, and looking for some great deals. That's why I asked here additionally if someone could recommend maybe something I might miss.

Well tire rack typically sells tires cheaper than any local place, so I do not know how you could consider them to be a ripoff. If you need tires that cheap, maybe you should check and see if anyplace local to you sells used tires. Costco sells tires, Walmart sells tires. I've shopped all over and NEVER seen a place that just blows the rest out of the water on pricing. You may want to check ebay.

^ I've never heard of Tread Depot before, but they sell the General Exclaim UHP's for $3 less each than Tire Rack in 235/40/18, and their shipping is cheaper to me... I need new tires very soon (at the wear bars), so this is good for me!

Tire rack a majority of the time is the cheapest out there, so your SOL unless you find a place local, which you most likely CAN...

I've heard of people taking a print out of major online tire retailers to sears and getting a price match plus 10%, you can give that a try if they carry the tires you want

Try http://www.phillipstire.com/store/ca...?m=tire_search

I practically Stole some BFG g-force tires from them for like $17 cheaper than tire rack plus cheaper shipping. the only downside is they really only sell michelins and BFGs

there's also a place local to Cincinnati called "TireDiscounters, Inc." NOT discount tire, and they always have really good pricing on stuff. prolly won't help you if you live more than 200mi away though lol.

Thanks guys!

Well I find TireRack kinda hard to use, they're complicated, but they have very good reviews on tires and alot of other helpful info.

I'm looking right now at General Exclaim UHPs, seems like they're rated pretty good and they're valued at a very good price, $100 per each tire 235/40/18.

Also looking at NANKANG NS-II for $74 each...did anyone heard anything about these tires? Seems like the lowest price out there.
Anyone else maybe can recommend some other manufacturer?

Heard pretty good reviews of nexen 3000s here and elsewhere, ever consider the 7000s? They are basically the UHPAS from nexen

Which ones???????

Well once again thanks guys for the help.

Seems like I might go for one of these, either a General Exclaim UHP for $445 shipped or the NANKANG NS-II's for $355 shipped.

Overall seems like the UHPs are better tires than NS-II's, but the price is almost $100 more! College is coming up right now and I might be short on the budget, that's why I can't really decide which ones should I go for.

What would you guys do, do you think it will be really worth it to get UHPs over NS-II's??? I couldn't really find the reviews and specs for Nankang NS-II's like I did on Exclaim UHP's. But still compare to some reviews they're are both good tires, but UHP's are still a higher class...I just wish NS-II's had more info/reviews on them.

don't cheap out on tires. find good tires cheap. Spring for the Exclaims if you dont have to worry about winter. otherwise, get something all-season.

Well just wanted to thank you guys for the quick help!

I decided to go with a set of General Exclaim UHP's from TreadDepet Very good ratings on these tires and very good price, and I gotta say they're rated higher than most highly priced tires brands out there.

i'd make some local calls. discount tire will sometimes match prices if you talk to em right. considering you have to get em mouted/balanced anyway it might be worth a shot, + you save on shipping.
