Toyo, Yokohama or Falken?
The best bang for your buck would be...?
BF Goodridge G-Force Sport $127.00 ea.
Falken ZE-912 for $80ish ea. (economy line?? - prob wont choose but it was a given offer)
Yokohama H4S for $119 ea.
Toyo Proxies 4 $139 ea.
I currently "limp" on Nitto NT 450s. One tire is warped and another needs to be costantly repatched. PITA!!
So which one would you suggest?
Only gonna have this Max for another year or so ... consider the expenditures.
Lastly, as far as speed rating is concerned how much of a difference is it with H and V ratings? I only drive 80mph at most. Please advise.

I have heard only good things about the Falken ZE-912s and for $80 a pop, thats not a bad deal at all. Next I would have to go with the Proxies 4. If you are only going to have your car for another year, go with the least expensive IMO.
id recommend the Toyo Proxes4. great all around performing tire, although with the slightly higher price tag. if youre on a budget and arent planning on keeping the car that long, then go a little more inexpensive. treadwear ratings on these should be 300+ so by the time you sell it, you should still have a lot of meat left.
i wouldnt be too concerned on speed ratings. unless youre constantly driving at 100+ then dont worry about it.

The ZE-912s aren't bad, but get the higher speed rated ones if you go for them. I have a set and they grip pretty well.
No one really has a negative comment about the Proxes 4 (well ok, get a little noisy at the end of their life plus they wear out a tad quickly), but I wanted a cheapo A/S tire that would last me a long time.

just to throw another 2 cents in. I've run H4S on one car and V4S on the maxima. Had good experience with them. They are excellent in dry, very good in wet, and pretty good in the snow.
Your profile doesn't say anything about where you live or what kind of maxima you have...but yokos are a good deal

I had proxes 4 on my 6th gen 18s that I recently sold. I drove them in a rain and they literally cut through the water on the ground. I wish I kept them long enough to see how they are in the winter. My only grudge with them is the soft sidewalls...other than that, GREAT tires. Im getting them or the 912s for my 17s before the snow hits hard. Im on craptenzas re92s right now
Dang... i chose what no one mentioned yet before i saw the replies ... G-force Sport since they didnt charge me tax. Is there anything i should worry about with G-Force Sport? Pros / Cons? Theyre supposed to be a fairly new treadstyle right?
