Tires related
I have a question and I'm not sure if it belongs here..
What is the best all season (high) performance 225 (235)-45-17 tire I can buy for $400 (shipped, all four) on Paypal?
Thats it...
Thanks.

I recently bought some all season tires from Tire Rack that I think are very good. AVON Tech M550's, they cost $108 each and are super sticky, I actually just put them on the car last Wed. I haven't tried them in the snow yet but their wet traction is great. I bought 245/45/17's, and no they do not rub at all.

Go with vulcantire.com. Bit cheaper than discounttire.
I actually have that same set-up, I'm running on Falken 512s for about a year now. Front two are supposedly balding, both have bubbles too. I drive in an area with a lot of bumps and pot holes, so far they haven't given up on me. Until I made a turn one day in a parking lot and didn't notice this huge *** curb cement block thing, burst the front passenger side.
Will be switching to the Falken 912s for next year, or maybe i'll just move up to 18's.
The 512s handled great, a little bit of road noise, never gave out on a turn and wet traction was awesome. They handled decently in snow, but don't expect like supersticky traction if that's the case.
