Clear Coat Removal

sup guys. i was wandering if some of you could lead me to the best way to remove the clear coat off of my fac. sawblades. i have heard of using permatex gasket remover and of/or that aircraft paint stripper you can brush on. the wheels are in great shape other than the clear. i thought about stripping and apinting them. i sanded one down and finished it with a wet sand of 1000 gritt. it turned out good but the center cap doesnt match now and i figured if i tried to sand it i would go through the finish. i think iwould rather paint anywas.

aircraft paint stripper. the stuff works great. just dont get it on your skin and wipe off any overspray on the tire. can be found at local shops (ie: Kragen)
