I was just wondering what people think looks best on a black 5th gen.

I wouldnt mind if people posted pics of their black maximas either.

Im driving a Super Black 98 Maxima SE.. I plan on painting my wheels with some Graphite wheel paint once It stops raining and warms up a little.

silver, chrome, polished, black w/ lip, or if you're brave...



red or red accents, but you gotta be hella clean to pull this one off.

all i can think of is this ricey black del sol by my school that has rims just like ^^^that ^^^

i would say black with the chrome trim to match the windows... (thats what im going to do with my 02 man)

i vote for OEM look rims, but black with chrome trim is my 2nd choice

hey Gunmetal should not count as a color here with silver rims... lol... Cause we all know after a few days or a week with driving they turn gunmetal... And yes even with ceramics like mine...

Theory #1: The excessive weight of those wheels simply bent the frame of his car so the door won't close completely. True story.

Theory #2: He's afraid that the car will get angry at him for putting the stupid 20'' decal on it, and will lock him out. True story.

I think my car would just run my *** over if I ever put a chrome sticker on it.

I plan to take that sticker off since i took the rims off temporarily, not a good look.

i would go wit either glossy black or silver painted... some people also like gunmetal but i would rather stick to the silver...

Ima say it depends on your car and it's trim bro. Like for example, if you have chrome door handles (not sure if this came on 5th gens like my 4th gen GLE; pic below), I think chrome wheels may look better.



but if your 5th gen is all black with black door handles, you can float one of these choices; stock silver color or gunmetal.

Black with chrome lip looks good, but you may lose detail the with all the black in my opinion. I actually like the stock or aftermarket silver myself. I think this Maxima right here is one of the smoothest Maximas I've seen on this site (belongs to irish44j no doubt)



also, Deckdout2's Maxima is one of the hardest with the gunmetal



also, Revs2Hard's Maxima looks crazy with these gunmetal SE-R Altima wheels (I think). Need a couple more pics to see the real deal though...




It also could depend on what look you want too. For example (some looks based on my opinion);

1. Understated, grown man look = silver
2. Flashy, "girl get you *** in my car" look = chrome
