Do you wax your rims?

Obviously this only applies to those of you with painted rims. Tire rack says you should take care of your rim paint the same as your car paint. I usually wash the rims every time I wash the car (including the inner part of the rim that I can only reach because I don't have a BBK). I wax them whenever I wax the car in the hope that it helps keep them cleaner and better protected.

Am I just weird, or is this normal?

I wax my wheels with Menzerna FMJ. Slick as hell but not particularly durable. Brake dust doesn't stick as easily. Helps with water beading too.

No - but do you use conditioner on your tires?

I do. Brake dust doesn't sit and bake in as easily.

Once a month. Florida beach weather kills it.

I'll wax them a couple times a year. usually when I get new tires and when I wax the car. really makes the brake dust easier to get off.

I use to wax mine regularly but now I only wax them once/year. It really helps with brake dust sticking to the surface.
