I currently have 225-50-17 on my maxima but the fronts are worn. I have a perfectly fine set of 215-55-17 in my garage. What I would like to know is can i put the 215-55-17 on the front while keeping the 225-50-17 on the rear? Thanks!. Also this would only be temoporary for a few weeks at most

 

I don't see where you would have a problem. The 215 is .4" taller, I doubt you can see the diff. I've run taller and wider rears with out any issues. At the limit performance, it would increase understeer over your current setup.
