the auction is for maxima wheels so Will see, I am debating still. I might just go 19" with a mesh look

 

By all means, if they are in fact selling them in our bolt pattern, get them. They are beautiful wheels. Just double check with the seller to make sure they are the correct specs. Either way, on a 6th gen you can most likely run your wheels a little more aggressive than previous generations. So an adaptor or spaced would probably do you good.

 

Love the stance on yours, what are you running?

Got a 93 Maxima. What tires would fit 18x8 rims with a 2" drop?

 

I heard 235/40/18 would be good. But would there be rubbing issues in front? Or just go 225/35/18 on front?

 

will these work on my 96?

18x9 +30 something and 18x10.5 +30 something

 

Can someone please tell me the offset for 2011 Maxima with OEM 18X8 wheel? I have searched and searched the internet but no definitive answer. I thought it was +38 until some posted in this thread that it is +50. I've emailed Nissan and my dealership but have not heard back yet. Thanks

 

Hey I'm wondering if these 2004 350z rims i got from a friend will fit correctly on my 2008 maxima. The tires currently on my maxima are 245/40/19 and the Z tires i want to put on there are 245/45/18 and 225/45/18. The bolt pattern is the same and i think they should work fine without rubbing but would like some more expert opinions on the topic.

i have my heart set on these rims ive come across but this offset thing is confusing the hell out of me. my biggest fear is that i will buy them and they will stick out of the fender like a go kart. spacers i can deal with. im hoping, if i have this right, i should need a +25mm spacer? i have some specs i was hoping someone could give me some knowledge.

Too aggressive? What exactly do you mean? Is it just not worth it to get the fitment right? Or will the have major ugly pokeage

 

It's gonna poke almost 20mm all around.

 

those are nice but with that offset +10 HELL NO and with a 25mm spacer F*CK NO lol

the spacer will change the offset +10 to -15 which = too much pokeage as chrisman stated above

i think you have the idea of spacer backwards.

the higher the offset, the more the wheel will sit inward/tucked within fender/wheel well

the lower the offset, the more the wheel will sit outward/poke out toward fender

Considering replacing my stock '02 SE rims with OEM '12 Juke rims. They can be found cheap enough on craigslist...

Nissan 17" x 7", 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern, 47mm offset

These should be plug and play, right?

 

As long as the center bore is 66.1 like most OEM Nissan wheels, you should be fine.

 

I am thinking about getting 09-2012 altima wheels there 18 x 8 with an offset of 45mm. I am planning on lowering about 1.5 in. Will I be ok and what size tire should I get.

 

That should be fine. A little sunk but fine. I'd go with 225/40's.

Sunk as in not flush with the fenders. Probably would need 25mm spacers up front and 30mm in the rear at the very least.

I think the stock 2002 Maxima SE rims have a 45mm offset, and Juke rims have a 47mm offset. So, I don't need spacers, or anything right? I can just take the wheels off my '02 Maxima and put '11 Juke rims on and go without issues?

Appreciate the help. I'm set to pick up new take-offs with 27 miles tomorrow but wanted to make sure I wasn't buying something I can't install.

 

If the Juke wheels are as wide as the Maxima wheels, they'll just sit in 2mm compared to stock which isn't much at all.

You'll only need spacers if you want them to sit flush.

 

if anything test fit one before you buy but im sure they'll fit fine like chrisman said

Also, I'm a new poster, will be picking up a 2000 Maxima GXE this Saturday.

 

Should sit nice and flush on a 5th gen. I would get coilovers first though.

And 225/35s should be perfect for some baby stretch.

These questions are probably basic things so apologize for the noobness.

 

I'd suggest BCs, D2s or black KSports.

And yes, to lower the car first. The wheels would look stupid at stock height. Also to run some negative camber up front.

 

Alright, thanks a lot. If I just let my mech know what I plan to do he should be able to know how much lowering to do, right?
I don't wanna take the risk of installing the coilovers myself.

Holy **** didn't even realize how expensive coilovers are.. I guess it'll take some time to get the coilovers and rims then!

The car is currently on 18" G35 wheels with 225-45-18 in front and 245-45-18 in the back. The G35 wheels have an offset of +30 I believe. The car is lowered on Tein H-Techs and do not rub. Can I get away with 235-45-18 OR 225-50-18 all the way around without rubbing. I would like to get more tire to eliminate the wheel gap and a more comfortable ride. Thanks in advance.

you should be able to do both since you are not that low. i had 225/45 in the front with about a pinky of gap with my g35c wheels. no rubbing at all

I got a 02 max I got 20x8.5 f - 20x10 r 225/35/20 f - 245/35/20 r offsets 30 f and 40 r also added 10mm spacers to rear to get wheel away from shocks . Rubs in the back abit but haven't rolled fenders yet..my question I was looking at sum 18s for the winter months 18x9 f offset 30 and 18x10.5 r offset 27 will this work or am I pushing it too much..also the 18x8.5 offsets is 20 I thought was too low which I thought about the 18x9 for the fronts...oh also when I tried to put the 245/35/20s tires on the front it rubbed like crazy when turning at full lock or close to it and dnt let there b a bump or Anything tht will cause the wheel to descend or ascend sounds like my fender woulda been ripped off so I switch them to the back I had 255/35/20s in the back tht rubbed a lot so took those off I got em forsale if anyone wants em only drove 300miles on em couldn't take the rubbing
