Need Help.....

My brother had this rim in an 17" and unfortunately hit a nasty pot hole on the side of the road and it currently looks like this:

We had a mobile wheel repair man come out and he said that there was no chance for the rim to be fixed because the actual barrel of the rim was bent. So i was wondering if anyone would have this rim or know someone with it because they discontinued the rim. I know asking that sounds a little crazy but you never know what people have. The actual look of the rim is in the below picture. Let me know if you know anything as in an website that carries discontinued rims or something, we already contacted the company and currently waiting for their response. Thanks

take it to a wheel repair shop. mobile repair doesn't have the equipment needed.

on a related note, it will cost as much as that wheel is worth and maybe more if it's as cheap as it looks. probably money better spent just to upgrade.

Truing the whole barrel is gonna be tough and expensive. Might as well get a new set.

it's cracked too.

wheel looks cheap. if it wasnt a manhole that caused that on a 17" wheel, then that thing is weaksauce too. +1 on cost effectiveness. go back to stock if you still have the wheels.

what was he gonna say? "it can be done but i can't do it". probably wouldn't get much repeat business like that. i've seen wheels that were folded in half get repaired.

he said that he couldnt do it because the barrel of the rim was bent and once that gets bent theres no way to fix it....

Get new wheels!!!

The bend can get repaired but the crack is what worries me. I had that inside crack like 50 times on my old 19's, everytime it got sottered in, the sotter got weaker and weaker, and led me to sell my nicest pair of rims ever....
