Best Color for These Rims?
Best Color for These Rims?
I got these 16'' 300zx NA rims that I would like to paint. Ive painted rims in the past but was not happy with the outcome of my color choice. Any ideas on a good color? I am not a fan of black wheels. Leave them? I will be getting coilovers soon and slam the car. I will also be getting new wheels but that will be awhile
Here is my car with one of the wheels

I would say re-spray them silver. With the chrome trim around the windows and the clear corners, I think that's really the only option. The bronze would look funny with the window trim and clear corners.
coilovers and steering wheel/hub are going on over break
paint them red, because when snow gets caught in the spokes, they'll look like candy canes and you'll have the most christmasy maxima ever!
What size are those tires? They look kinda on the small end.

Then I

Then I

Paint them eggshell white so they camouflage with the snow
But, seriously, winter wheels are temporary. You're not racing with them. You're not going to car shows with them. So have fun with it... don't just stick to boring silver or black. You can do that for your summer wheels, where it will match your car and look clean.
There's no point to stripping, sanding, and polishing them. Just tape off the tire sand them until it's a good surface for adhesion, then just rattle can them.
Winter wheels are like the old jeans and ripped t-shirt that you wear when you're going to spend the day working on ur car, watching sports, and drinking beer. It doesn't matter what they look like because no one who cares will see them. Be creative with it. Do something exciting... go with a bright color, or an odd color, or an uncommon color.
