Best Color for These Rims?

I got these 16'' 300zx NA rims that I would like to paint. Ive painted rims in the past but was not happy with the outcome of my color choice. Any ideas on a good color? I am not a fan of black wheels. Leave them? I will be getting coilovers soon and slam the car. I will also be getting new wheels but that will be awhile
Here is my car with one of the wheels

Just leave them as is. Keep them as a winter set and spare yourself the extra work.

I would say re-spray them silver. With the chrome trim around the windows and the clear corners, I think that's really the only option. The bronze would look funny with the window trim and clear corners.

OOOOOOOORRRRRR you could do a polished metal color

Its in the 4th Gen stickies, you strip the paint, sand a LOT, and polish.

Thats what I think is going to happen. My friend put them back on his 300zx but they will still get painted or polished.

Will post pics

Clean them and leave them as is, or may be repaint silver. Their not a nice design or anything so I wouldn't put much effort into them.

Its a CRIME to go from aftermarket 19"s to an old *** 16"s Even if you chrome dipped them to brand new status its still a mistake, so +1 for pink/purple

Come on guys...it sounds like these are his winter wheels. Paint them whatever color you want. But I'd stick with black or silver.

paint them red, because when snow gets caught in the spokes, they'll look like candy canes and you'll have the most christmasy maxima ever!

What size are those tires? They look kinda on the small end.

Paint them eggshell white so they camouflage with the snow

But, seriously, winter wheels are temporary. You're not racing with them. You're not going to car shows with them. So have fun with it... don't just stick to boring silver or black. You can do that for your summer wheels, where it will match your car and look clean.

There's no point to stripping, sanding, and polishing them. Just tape off the tire sand them until it's a good surface for adhesion, then just rattle can them.

Winter wheels are like the old jeans and ripped t-shirt that you wear when you're going to spend the day working on ur car, watching sports, and drinking beer. It doesn't matter what they look like because no one who cares will see them. Be creative with it. Do something exciting... go with a bright color, or an odd color, or an uncommon color.

I agree with him also. Maybe with some thin red rim tape if you leave it black.
