Question about offset
Question about offset
I want to get new rims for my 04 but I'm not sure what sizes/offset I should look for to keep it from rubbing. I am installing Progress springs, Racingline front and rear end links, Progress rsb, Racingline fstb, and hopefully the SE-R fsb if the stealership can get it in time. I would like to run at least 18's but hopefully 19's I'm just not sure what width and offset I should use to ensure that it doesnt rub at all.
Also, what if I get a staggered set? What would be the correct offset to use for front and rear? Will I need spacers?
I'm more than likely going to run G35s or G37s if I can find a set for a good price.
Thanks guys
JB

The best advice i think I can give you is use this calculator:
http://marksink.com/tire_wheel_offset/
It could be helpful if you know your current width/offset so you can compare it to your new set-up.
And take physical measurements and verify things are going to fit.
The rear wheels set in a bit on the A32/33/34 chassis, and you will need either spacers or staggered set-up (lower offset in the rear)in order to set and be even with the front, if that is indeed what you want.
