I am clueless about wheels and tires...

I bought brand new rims and snow tires for my 03 Infiniti I35. Used them 2 months. My I35 got flooded out and now I am shopping for a newer car.

Want to pick something that can run these brand new wheels and tires. They were "downsized" from the normal I35 tires.

I know they will fit the 2002 to 2004 I35s but I want a slightly newer car.

Am looking at the Maxima 2005-2008's and wondering if they will fit ok for winter tires.

Anyone know?

Many thanks.

I'd say buy a car based on your needs and wants, not the size snow tires you have. You can sell the snow tires to get some money back.

I don't know if 16's can fit newer Maximas.

You'd have to shave down the front calipers for the wheels to clear.

Thanks, the Maxima does meet my desires as it is essential the same car as my beloved i35, but apparently with a few tweeks here and there... guess I will just get another i35 since someone said they won't fit the newer Maximas due to the brakes... same story with the G35's as well... good job I loved that i35!

Thanks for the input!

Thanks

Dang, was hoping it would be a fit... I know it will fit some of the Altima's, but they are not so attractive to me as the older i35s are... guess I will just save some $$$ and get another low mileage i35!

Thanks much for the info.
