I may have a lead on 15x8" 5x114.3mm bolt pattern Rota Slipstreams. These wheels are exceedingly rare apparently, but it looks at this point like I can get a set. It'd be cheaper per wheel if I were to buy four of them (I'd just resell two of them since I'd be using just two for drag wheels). I'm told the color is flat black with a red lip. At this point I think that is the only color available (not that I care, I'd just paint the lip black too).
So, is anyone interested? The guy said I can get two brand new wheels for $300 shipped or 4 of them for $545 shipped.

so are you asking us if you should by four and resell ONLY two to somebody? or Are you going to buy the four wheels and sell ALL four to us??
Is these the only 4 wheels or do they have quite a few sets??
I have no need for 4 of them, I only need two. But the guy will sell them for cheaper (per wheel) if I buy 4 of them. So I would resell the other two. The offset is +40mm.

He said he has 6 of them in his shop right now, two new and 4 used. He said he can get another two new ones, if I were to decide I want to purchase 4 new ones from him. I am trying to see how much he'd sell the used ones for, he only gave me the price for new ones thus far, but he's stopped responding to my PMs (may be just offline now). He's a vendor on the RSX forums.

OK just an update I did end up purchasing all 4 of them from the guy, so I'll post two of them up for sale when I receive the wheels from him. Keep a look out.
Why didn't you just buy the 6 wheels and sell the other FOUR?? That would have been a better bet.
I don't think I'll have any problem just selling two of these. these aren't exactly wheels that I imagine many people would want to use as an everyday wheel given the color and fact that they're only 15". I see them as being a much more drag oriented setup for the maxima crowd, thus I think selling 2 of them will actually be easier than selling a set of 4. lastly, i got a better price (per wheel) on four than i would've gotten on two or six, and less shipping cost too.
