FS: SSR Type-C (JDM) super lightweight rims in winning gold
Rims:
Manufacturer: SSR
Brand: Type-C / Competition
Colour: Winning gold
Size: 16x7
Bolt pattern: 5x114.3
Offset: 42mm
Weight: 11.0 lbs each
Construction: Semi Solid Forged
These SSR Type C rims are the JDM version in winning gold colour, imported directly from Japan to my door. In North America they are also known as SSR Competition. These rims are so light that when I had them on my car on a track it dropped my 1/4 mile time by 0.4 sec with NO other modifications at the time.
These were my summer rims and have never seen snow, sand, salt or winter conditions (under 10 degrees celsius). I originally bought them for over $1800 (not including the import fees). Take this opportunity to get yourself a steal of a deal! NO RESERVE for a set of high end rims that are impossible to find used! Since these are so light the cost of shipping should be quite reasonable. They will be packaged extremely securely before shipping.
The picture shows tires on them that were sold separately. Contact for additional pictures.
My asking price is $1000 or best offer (I am asking for $1200 OBO on Kijiji and ebay but am willing to give an org'er a better deal).
Shipping and Payments:- Shipping costs are to be paid by the buyer
- Paypal is accepted but will be subject to Paypal fees of 2.9%
- The shipping cost estimator below is 1 rim as I estimated each rim to be packaged individually with a package weight of 15 lbs and dimensions of 22" x 22" x 13" - actual shipping cost will be provided upon auction completion when I can get these to the post office and individually packaged profressionally, weighed and quoted
- For local buyers in the Toronto or surrounding areas local pick up is an option

I am about 3 hours from Detroit... not too bad.
The JDM version of these did not come with center caps... emphasis was to keep the weight as low as possible even though the caps would be concentrated weight in the middle of the hub.

gluck with the sale.. it takes me 6.5 hours just to get to detroit as it is (not interested in a drive to toronto area just to pick up wheels (did that once before and it was 11 hours one way to Missassauga!!! -- along with issues at customs that weren't fun!)

Actually I have them on ebay now with the sale ending tomorrow afternoon. I would do$800 + shipping for an orger and save myself the ebay fees. I did the shipping estimate online but I will get an actual cost when I go to the store and have them package it up and you would just pay the actual... so it should be just over $1000 shipped.
