I fell in love with this car at first glance. I wrecked my silver 99 Maxima GXE and knew I wanted another Maxima. This one is fully loaded with features: sunroof, Bose system, heated seats/backs, spoiler, 10 disc changer in deck, and has been VERY well maintained over the last 14 years. LOVE IT!
One problem I have noticed is an idling issue that stalls the car on occasion and causes it to buck at any speed. I have replaced everything I can think of and have yet to solve the problem. I'll figure it out! ;)
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
I traded out the RL Hub assembly with my 99 GXE because the bearing was bad, but the GXE did not have ABS. Therefore, my Stealth Ninja no longer has ABS because I did not want to fork out hundreds for a hub that I already had. Ahhhhhh.....who needs ABS? I motor brake! ;)
Future Modifications:
Maybe one day I will turn it into an all electric possibly solar powered, fully functioning car.
