I bought this car frm a friend for 400 to help him out and it ran so It was gonna be used for the purpose of a 2nd Car but it had engine problems and then rght after I put the Maxima in the shop the engine blew in the Bimmer... So now both cars are in the shop.. The BMW is set for a speedy recovery and I'm just re'doing everything over in the Maxima so thT it's completely finished...
Now though, I'm not gonna sell this Max, I've put too much into it (I'm @ or around $3000 and I'm still not even close to where I want it to be... So this has definetly turned into a project obsession of mine.. But trust me in about another 3 months this car is gonna be sweeeet and the total investment by then will be close to $9,000 if I had to estimate costs
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Engine swap 1997 VQ30De 103,000mi
Suspension Modifications:
Complete Lower control arms/suspension kit... Stabilizer bars, inner & outter tie rod, sway bar, all new bushings and ball bearing. Complete Rack & Pinion, upper and lower aluminum front strut/tower bars, rear aluminum strut bar. Finally, Stagg SHS Strut and Vogtland lowering springs
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Right now, in my 96' I hav the 2004' Nissan Maxima 18"x7.5 silver sport rims wrapped in continental 245/40/18
But.., I'm desperately tryin to do some 22" Milanni Ambrosia 22x9.5 or the... 22" Lorenzo WL27 wrapped in 235/30/22 for the frnt and 245/30/22 in the rear. Ofcourse probably continental as well.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Interior done & inspired by Infiniti 2001 Q45 & Infiniti 2006 M45...
-2001 Q45 steering wheel with radio controls and complete column to the floor shifter.
-2006 M45 foot pedals and floor mats
-96' Nissan Maxima molded carpet kit
-alpine head unit
Future Modifications:
-2006-2007 M45 shifter assembly and knob
-All seating and door panels are gonna be custom fitted in luxurious tan/sand leather and completed with Infiniti logo's and design.
-22"x9.5 chrome rims wrapped in continental tires
-intercooler
