gle or se
i know there are small differences. Like the se has a little stiffer suspension and white faced gauges and no rev limiter. BUT is there any other big differences?

check the stickies: diff rims, spoiler, fogs, body colored grill and door handles, chromed exhaust tip are all found in SE's STANDARD
TOPPED out SE > ANY GLE
let the flaming begin.

SE can get same options as a GLE.
SE is for more of a sporty ride, while the GLE is more of a luxury ride.
I personally didnt care the least bit that my car was GLE and not SE because im sure the ride difference isnt that much, and i kinda like the smoothness(if thats a word).
Many people here upgrade the suspension anyways, so it really doesnt matter if you plan to do that.

k thanks for the input. Im been keeping my eyes open for a black se (auto) fully loaded in my area. Sadly, though the only ones i have found are very high miles or not in good condition. I found a gle thats what i want in options cept the rims. But its not a se so i dont know if i shoudl get it. THe thing is i may never find a balck se in my area with all the stuff i want in the condition i need. What do you guys think?
I'm planning on gettign some 19's for the summers, i dont know whether or not i'm going to redo the suspension do to the fact i need to be able to drive it in the winters.

ok this is what it basically comes down to...AUTO CLIMATE control...most se's dont have this....yes the SE comes with a spoiler, rims, foglights and such......WELL if i had it to do over again, id get a GLE cause of the auto climate...I LOVE the way it looks in the car...you can put on rims, spoiler, fogs, etc.. ... but you CANT add auto climate ... im telling you with all black leather, the difference between auto and manual climate control is HUGE ... well thats how I see it ... but if you can find an SE with auto climate...than go for it ASAP...make sure u take it to NISSAN and get the used car check for 75 bucks .... good luck

I have a 95SE 5-speed and I have auto climate control. Maybe you should go for the GLE if you want an automatic, but I have never owned an automatic car in my life and don't plan on buying one unless my left leg is amputated.
Perhaps you should consider locating your ideal car a little further afield, unless you find one locally that hasn't been continually exposed to the Minnesota winters.
Is there any rust on the GLE you're looking at? You should get it on a hoist, have it inspected and take a good long look underneath it, including taking off the wheels and looking at the brake calipers.
