Windshield Washer Question
Hello.
It won't spray.
Actually, there's no pressure, so when I turn up the damn chalk, nothing happens.
Actually, I don't know how to diagnose the problem; not sure if the lines are clogged, or the windshield washer motor has failed, but essentially no liquid comes out.
It is a little bit better in the summer, when it just trickles out. On the right side, that is. Left is completely dead.
Thanks

behind your pass. side splash guard is you washer res. take off the little hose going to the motor on that and turn it on, then if it sprays your lines are clogged, if not the motor is out, i have went through 2 motors already, can you hear the motor come on when you hit your sprayer lever??

I noticed that my washer doesn't spray today as well. I figured it was just out of fluid but when I started to fill it up it immediately came up the neck, checked the reservoir and it was filled.
My guesses were that its either clogged or the motor went out.
Is there a fuse that could of gone out that I should check as well?

turn it on = spray
if you can't hear it the pump may be out they don't cost very much, especially one from a junkyard

I had the same problem. Both my nozzles were clogged. Cleaning them is fairly straightforward. Man I so much gunk in them.
First remove the nozzles by unsnapping them from the hood. There's a rubber spacer to protect your hood- set that aside. Notice there's a white part behind the nozzle where the hose connects. That thing comes out, but is a bit of a pain to remove. I used pliers/wire cutters, so that when i carefully squeezed the cutters onto the gap between the black part and white, it popped out. You'll remove a spring and a ball- make sure you don't lose these. Now clean the rest of the nozzle in some soapy water, and use a needle or something small and pointy to pull out the gunk thats built up in there. Replace the spring and ball in the same order and pop it back. Connect the hose back to the nozzle and test!
