yellow fog overlays burned, what to get now?

i've had some lamin-x yellow fog film/overlays on the max for about 2 years. i used the fogs pretty much any time i drive on oem replacement 55watt h3 bulbs. the film fried now. right in front of the film is dark brown burnt adhesive and film.

im thinking about taking off the film and going back to yellow fog bulbs. the best yellow fogs ive ever used were the 85watt narva rally gold h3. great color, great brightness, but these ran wayy too hot and cracked my old fogs before the 97-99 conversion

have there been any improvement in the 55watt h3 department over the past 2 years. any good bulbs to recommend?? ive bought the cheap ebay ones before and they sucked

check here for what you are looking for.
no pictures of the narva rally gold, but you'll get the general idea.

Ebay OEM fog light with yellow lens... kit comes with everything you need. However my lens cracked with in 2 weeks ... both of them. Im not sure maybe its because i adjusted it too tight and the metal hit the glass or because they were faulty but they broke... The seller however did agree to change them, i just never got around to it.

I might have a better pic, if i do ill post it.

Those ebay fog kits suck. I have seen them break way to many times to even want to look at them.

Right now I have yellow overlays. I will prolly do yellow bulbs soon too, maybe even hids....

I had the PIAA Ion crystal 85W and paid a good amount of money for them, and one of them burned out in less then a year which pisses me off. I think ill try my lexus capsules in and if that doesnt work then 3000K HIDS it is.

Go with lexus yellow capsules and its not that hard to seperate fogs. The hard part is finding the capsules. The ebay fogs suck, they will crack on you.

Cheapest easist way is just to paint them with some yellow stainglass paint ....lasts a good while and wont burn off.....might have to repaint after a few years....depends on how much you use your fogs.
