this picture states it's for a 99, will it fit in my 96 maxima?

wont work. the fuel gauge is turned around, and the odometer is digital, and in a different spot.

It can be done/fit!! You would have to change alot of wiring in the odometer harness along with the odometer back panel. you would need one from a 98-99 along with the pigtails from a 98-99. Ive been down this road before its a pita. If your looking for white gauges why don't you just swap in white gauges from a 95-96 SE

You can change the led bulb In the cluster to a different color sure. If thats what you mean. But it's regularly a warm white color at night. You can even swap in a cluster from a 1997 SE, its a different style from the 95-96 SE. The 97 has orange gauge needles where the 95-96 have black gauge needles. Looks a bit sporty and cleaner IMO.
