Low fuel light not working

Low fuel light not working

i have checked gauge lights and i am sure it is not about the bulbs.What can i do for this ?

It's more than likely the fuel level sending unit in the gas tank. Common issue.

To me, it's not worth the $100 for a new one when we can easily read the needle.
I bought a used one here on the Org for peanuts, but haven't installed it yet.
I bet you can get one from your local junkyard for $10 or cheaper.

I haven't checked, but IIRC, I don't think there's a way to diagnose/fix it per the Factory Service Manual.

The sending unit is part number 25060-4L700 and the o-ring seal is part number 17342-01A00. Here is a photo of the fuel tank sending unit.



This is a close up of the end of the sending unit. The dark thing all the way on the right is the gasoline temperature sending unit. This can cause a P0180 check engine light if the temperature of the gasoline is too something.

The silver piece to the left of the temperature sensor is for the low fuel light. It has little holes in it so the gasoline can get inside of it, but that's all I can tell you.

thanks for you help, yes 100 bucks is too much for just that light but i want my car works perfect and in my country(turkey) it is not easy to find old part for that.İ must order from usa from turkey. But first i need to change arm bush ball joint stabilizer bar and all plastic kits and all of those in front of the car than i will start inside. this car killing my money but i am huge fan of maxima i love my car
