Lubricating TOB through the tranny opening.
Is it possible to lubricate the TOB by removing the rubber boot from the top of Tranny and spraying a high temp oil through a straw with the help of the small USB flex camera to try to quiet TOB/or eliminate it as a cluprit. There is whirling noise coming either from the TOB or ISB when clutch pedal is released.
Thoughts or ideas?

I don't think the TOB would be making any noise when the clutch pedal is released.
Wouldn't it only rotate when the clutch pedal is pressed and it makes contact with the clutch?
Creative solution but I don't know that I would want oil sprayed in there because it would get on the flywheel/clutch surface.

the TOB uses thick grease packed into the bearing and IIRC that bearing is "sealed" to keep out all the fine particles of clutch dust, so spraying it down wouldnt do much except maybe increase the risk of oiling down your clutch disc/pressure plate which you obviously dont want to do. If you have a whirling noise when the clutch is RELEASED as you say above it wouldnt be the TOB. Probably something more of a pain since the whirring is only when power is being sent into the trans. In other words, seems more likely to be a bearing on the tranny input shaft (maybe by ISB you mean input shaft bearing? Ive never seen it abbreviated so IDK)

Thanks guys. If the TOB is sealed then there is no point really. I be droppping the tranny next week since i have another car to use and will take the time to have a look at each component and probably replace the clutch while i am at it. Still hoping that the tranny is good but its only the Throw Out Bearing (TOB) which is simple to replace. No tranny shifting problems, new oil, clutch still grabs great, no leaks.
