Why are the left headlights always worse looking than the right?

I've seen tons of 5.5 gen maximas where the left headlights are worse looking than the right (including my own) is there any reason for this that you can think of or is it just coincidence that I see so many maximas like this.

I guess maybe people hit things or get hit more on the drivers side? Looks like a replacement light.

Left or right is usually determined with respect to driver position. Your left should be right, and vice versa.

That left one in the picture looks like a newer unit. Did you find this car in the yard of a body shop?

my driver side light of my 5th gen seems to have gotten worse and my headlights were the same condition when I bought the car.

imo, sun exposure is the main culprit, mine is on the driver's side, where the car sits, the drivers side is not covered by the tree/shade as the passenger side is. ~11 years in this config, while neither side is clear, driver's side was considerably more hazed over the years, gotta get a 3M headlight kit soon, plastic lenses...

Yellowing is commonly caused by dogs urinating on the passenger side lens. This is do to the fact that dogs prefer that side more

Coincidentally, my dog did urinate on the front of my car when I first got it, to let everyone know it was HIS!

He has this problem, he has to perform a urination on anything new in his vicinity, and he has ***** so that doesn't help.

You want like new clear headlights?
Buff your headlights then use clear coat it'll last years.

They came from the factory with clear coat the the reason the plastic oxideses is that coat fades away.

Youtube it. I'm doing it reals soon.

I have never seen headlights on any car with that drastic of a difference unless one side was replaced. That drivers side light was definitely replaced or maybe the owner restored the drivers side light & is lazy and hasn't restored the passenger side yet?

easy, there is always so much time in the day to clean the car.. and by the time one headlight is finished, people are tired enough to walk away from actually finishing both
