terrible gas milage

Guys i put 40 dollars a week in gas, which is roughly about 40 liters (10.5 gallons) and i can drive for ~ 240km's (150miles) that gives me about 6km/liter.

is this normal of a 2001 AE with 220km's?

I just had an exhaust leak fixed and that helped a bit but nothing special

any suggestions?

You are supposed to get 22 mpg combined so it's kind of bad but not that bad considering winter weather.

I averaged around 16 mpg in the gen 4 and as low as 12-13 mpg in the 02 Maxima depending on how I drove

That's pretty low, but likr george_ said, also due to winter driving, my mileage has gone down a bit. I just paid $40 also last Friday and I drive about 40 miles a day during the week, and the $40 gives me about ~350 miles

i'm due to change my tranny fluid so i'm hoping that and some fuel injector cleaner helps. I will remove and clean my throttle body in spring when i park her up.

my frontier with a supercharger is a little bit better lol

My '03 averages 9.5L/100km (24 mpg) combined. On average I get about 550km on a tank (little less than 1/4 tank left).
I'd cry if I got 12-13mpg lol

Too much aggressive driving and being very busy. Luckily gas prices have gone down a lot .

I drive my car very lightly and get 18mpg. If I drove it hard I would get anywhere from 10-12mpg I'm sure. 2000 Max GLE (Auto)

My foot is almost non-existent at this point, tire pressure is good and always monitored, alignment is good, and I've done the "general" maintenance. With all of that I'm still averaging 18mpg and with hard driving probably less than 10mpg.

I've been told to get new spark plugs, so that's on my list. I lost 50 pounds on my quest for better fuel economy, if you guys have weight to drop do it!

got a tranny flush about half way thru my current 40 dollar tank fill and i refilled with an 1/8 tank left and at 290km's.....compared to 230ish prior.

I'll brake 300km's this tank for sure, increase of 100+km's with fixing an exhaust leak and fresh tranny fluid. Hoping for more of an increase when i clean my throttle body some time soon.
