do I need camber bolts?
I have a 00 SE with stock 17s, I am getting a set of kyb's wrapped with Vogtland springs that will drop the ride approximately 1.3 inches. So my question is do I need new camber bolts for added adjustment to straighten up the tire? Or is there enough adjustment within stock parts? I CANT STAND A CAR WITH LEANING TIRES!....and I refuse to drive one.

No, you shouldn't. I dropped mine about 3 inches on Tein coilovers and didn't need too. You have 1 degree of negative camber to play with on the fronts. My front right was 0.6 degrees neg camber and my front left was I think 0.1 neg camber. If a shop says that you need to get camber bolts or slot the knuckles on your strut, get a second opinion. I'm glad I did. The dealership told me my camber was negative 6 degrees on the right and negative 3 degrees on the left and wanted to slot my coilovers. I got a second opinion, and wallah, no need to do any of that.

From shiftice.com
You can see the rear wheel's not "aligned" properly, it's inward

The rear is a solid axle with a float-style factory panhard bar with no camber adjustments. The panhard is short & causes the axle to shift further to one side when lowered or under weight load. if you want your axle to be centered, it will require a custom rear panhard bar.
camber bolts for the front are cheap, buy them & use them if you want. I for one am glad I have the bolts, it's a headache without them IMO. The more negative or positive the wheel is, the more torque steer you will feel. Once a factory system is modified, it's better to utilize the aftermarket parts to give you the adjustments necessary to achieve a quality ride.
keep us posted about how u like the Vogtland... my girl and I almost got some for her Audi, but ended up going with Solo-Werks.

2000 is a weird year. when i looked at struts a while back i noticed there were different part numbers for cars pre 7/00 and after 7/00. from what i can tell all 5ths after 7/00 share the same setup, but before 7/00 may be slightly different. i am not sure what the difference is.

All of these questions have been answered before.
