Check the cooling fan for the radiator and condenser. When the vehicle is moving there is air going through the radiators but if if you are stopped and the fan is not running the ac condenser will not work and the ac would probably shut down. Is the engine running hotter than normal when not moving?

I see this was your first post. What advice are you looking for? There is no magic button that you press that will fix it.
I would verify the A/C clutch operation first.
Do you own A/C pressure gauge? Do you know how A/C works?
The way you describe it, makes it tough to troubleshoot. If the vehicle has
to be moving for the A/C to not work, short of tying camera under the hood, I am not sure what to advise except taking it to a shop.
