Clicking noise from front suspention. (dealer says...)
Latley I've had clicking noise coming from the my front end. It happens when I pull out of a spot, pull out of a parking space, or turn a corner from a dead stop etc.
I took it to the dealer and they said I was hearing noise from objects moving inside my car . I didnt have time to argue, with them. Im thinking of taking it to another dealer. anyone know what it could be so I can go with a specific description?
2011 w/ sport 9K miles
Thanks.

This happens to me all the time. Brought it to the dealer and they replaced the front bearings and stuts assembly. Still it clicks and kept the car for another whole day. I came back and still it clicked and they told me this is normal. They showed me 3 new 2012 Maximas on the lot that that the same clicking noise plus 1 2010 Maxima being oil changed. All 4 of them clicked. I'm assuming this is normal cause my friends 2011 Max does the same and he's on Eibachs like I am. My dealership told me it's not a saftey issue and they double checked the recalls on our cars on this but nothing. I told them if I get in an accident and this was the cause, they owe me a GT-R .

But would every single dealer know this is normal? He stated they replaced some parts and later realized it was normal. Every dealer might not treat this situation the same.

Mine also does it when I cut the wheel all the way you hear it.. also been told its normal and I have been shown Max's on the lot and they do the same thing also I have heard other cars do it as well when the wheels are cut all the way.

I hear the same type of noise when I drive my wife's 2012 SV. Bought car new with 20 miles on it. Only does it when I back out of the driveway and go down the street about 50-100 feet and then doesn't do it again at all.
I'm wondering if it's the anti-lock brakes system kicking in? My wife's 2010 TL did the same thing, but much louder and that's what it was in that car.
But you guys are describing this noise when you are turning the wheel. Mine only occurs when I start off and I'm going straight?

I had a similar problem. The dealer had to grease the axle. It seemed to have fixed the problem. It's been 6 months now. My problem is vibration and loud clanging at start up. They removed the engines heat shield but that didn't help. Hope I could help.

DansMax09 you are the best. I greased my axle with WD-40 and all together the clicking when turning the wheel stopped. WTF my Nissan dealer is high... I guess it's the lack of grease... Anybody know a good dealership in NJ???? Apparently Keyport Nissan NJ sucks. 90% of them don't know what they are talking about. Also about my other thread about that knocking sound, after I greased my axles, the knocking stopped and I tightened bolts a bit. I feel so much better.

What axle did you put WD40 on!!! Any grease that was in the axle is now gone!!! Donot ever put WD40 anywhere there is grease!!!!!!! It washes it away! Also those bolts you tightened, they were probably torqued from the factory at the right specs!!

LOL relax I only tightened my struts a bit. A friend of mine did it for me and he's professional. And don't worry about the grease... My boy told me that and he grease the crap out of my axles. It's literally covered in grease and he greased the struts also. But those are good pointers

Yea I am having that same problem wit my 2010 max and they changed the sway bar links both ends in the front and did the bearing and sway bar and I am still getting the noise and I bought it with 26k and it's been is three times for the same reason

Spray your axle with silicone spray or grease it. Don't use WD-40 cause like Newsat65 said, it washes away grease. It's been two days since I greased my axles and it doesn't make that clicking sound anymore

I just bought a 12 with 35,000 miles and I noticed a click when turning, it kinda sound like the pinging sound you hear when the oil is dripping back into the pan after you shut off the engine. Is this what you guys are referring too? I want to bring it back to the dealer but I don't want to get jerked around. And how do you grease an axle???
