FS: custom water to air aftercooler/intercooler system

Wassup boosted brothers

For sale is a custom water to air aftercooler system. Can be utilized for both supercharged and turbocharged applications. It was originally owned by furbiss112, then Slimer, then me.

Currently, only Ptatohed and me have water to air aftercooler systems. I30krab did/does too, but he hasn't posted in ages so....Mhadford did too, but he's parting out currently. Join me and Ptatohed, and we can be the 3 water to air musketeers.

It is known that a car will gain 1% to 2% total output power for every 11 degrees cooler intake air charge, having a colder intake charge is very important. At idle and crusing, the temperature delta is 20 to 30 degrees. At WOT, I've seen a 60 degree delta. With fresh ice, I've seen a 75 degree delta. This would be best for 1/4 mile use, but is fine for street use too. Drain the system, fill it with cold water and ice, you're ready for a sweet dyno pull or a drag strip race.

I never got around to installing it in one of my other supercharged Maximas, so I don't have any installed high res pictures. The installed poor quality pictures are all I could find from when Slimer and furbiss112 owned it. When you see it as raw aluminum, that's when furbiss112 owned it. Slimer then painted it black, and I've painted it black in some areas too for touch-up.

Custom air-to-water aftercooler with front heat exchanger that mounts to the lower radiator support and water pump. You'll need to take your Stillen IAT sensor adapter and insert and seal with Hi-temp RTV. The black water line hoses should probably be replaced simply due to their age. I will include them in the sale so you have a go by so you have a reference for length, size etc.

Parts included:
aftercooler box
water reservoir
heat exchanger
water pump
'S' shaped charge pipe
charge pipe with TurboXS BOV

The inlet and outlet size of the aftercooler is 2.5", the same size as Stillen's piping on their supercharger kit.

Price: $550 shipped anywhere in the contiguous US. The price may seem like a lot, and it is, but FWIW I spent nearly four times this amount on my PWR aftercooler system on my beast that is putting down 383hp. If you don't want the TurboXS BOV and/or the pipe that goes with it, let me know and I can drop the price.

Thanks,
Wiz

This is a great setup. I know since I had it custom made. I ran 13.2 @ 106mph on 5 psi of boost, street tires and full throttle after 40 mph. I see you used pictures from my cadomain as well. Good luck with sale.

Beginning of Summer bump. No better way to cool down hot boost than with an aftercooler setup where you can drop ice into it
