nice. Are you planning on coming back to Hallsville any time in the future? If you are, let me know, cuz the track is only 10 minutes away from my house.

Very nice times. Those 60's are not that great and you still managed to get one hell of a time. The track conditions must have been perfect.

BTW enjoy your record while it last, hehe

I know it helped me switching from 215/55/16s to a 205/65/15 as far as timewise. Do you think it would help SmokinOdum hit 13s to run some 15s on the front?

I did 14.285 @ 99.46 MPH with a 2.38 60' foot. I had my potenzas and stock 17's on. Full spare and stock tire pressure. I will go back soon when it cools off a little more and get at least 14.0's.

2.21 is a decent time and it make me feel better about my seemingly low trap speeds. lower 60 foots mean lower traps. that's why you can trap at almsost 100 you can't launch lol

but ya you have about 3 weeks till it's my record again. island had magic with my name on it. 14.36 STOCK. i know i can beat that there and i can't wait.

you guys better watch out because i'm getting ever so close to 13s! i ran a 14.18@94.43mph with a 2.09 60' time today at atco raceway, NJ. it was my first run of the day. knowing my car, i had to make the first run count since it's usually when my max runs quickest. here are the details. i will also post in the 1/4mi time forum. RT .571; 60' 2.094; 330' 5.952; 1/8mi 9.140@76.85mph; 990' 11.793; 1/4mi 14.184@94.43. my launch was achieved using street tires (the exact same setup i've been doing all along). come on guys, bejay's ECU should be arriving to me in a few days. let's bring the level of performance up a notch!

Your car is fast! You said the Contour claimed to be "stock" right?

Holy crap VQdriver, nice pass. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you have the best launches of any Max driver out there. 2.09 on street tires, thats awesome. And you are getting BEJAY1s ecu too, I was going to rent it from him last weekend for my day at the track but couldn't come up with the funds in time.

VQ what happened to your trap speed though. You were really rippin through the first 1/8 and 96.9 MPH but your 1/4 trap is like 2 full MPH off where you normally trap.

thanks neal. my name's rudy by the way. i hit the fuel cutoff before the finish line. this usually happens after i cross it. on that run i could feel the car was hooking up and it felt quick down the line so i knew it was gonna be good. i'm afraid to buy new tires. my 60' times might never be the same.

Ah, yeah banging off the limiter just before the finish line will do that. I was in that same boat before I got my slicks. With my MEVI, 3rd gear hit the limiter about 60ft before the end of the track, but at 95+mph I couldn't get it into 4th quick enough to be effective. I know I've asked you this before, but what tires are you running rudy?
