What should it Run?
Depends on....
- Which year (older style was lighter/quicker)
- Which engine (150 or 170HP stock)
- How the driver launches.
With a standard street launch, maybe around 16.0 +/- a few tenths. With a killer clutch-drop launch from redline, a low-15. Maybe even a high-14 if they're lucky, but that's a good way to blow up a tranny, motor mount, clutch, etc.
With a chip they are a second faster I think. Low-15's easily stock with a street launch, well into the 14's with the drop-clutch launch.

Last time i went to the drags a kid in an A4 was running low 14's and said he has hit high 13's before. He was rather modified though (could see his intercooler thru his front grills and all). But that AWD is a huge advantage at the 1/4.
