I went to the track for the first time last night...

It was the closest track to us, and it was the first time i had ever been to a track period...it was about 40 mins away, but it was well worth it. It was freaking crazy..it was just an 1/8th mile track tho..but..i just obseved for the night..watching the stage lights..and pre-stage lights and cars running 6 sec flat 1/8th times..Im heading back up there tonight, and im gonna run against one of my friends F-150's..it should be fun, i havent looked into 1/8 mile times much..could someone give me like an ideal time for my 95 auto max..with an intake an a y-pipe..thanks guys

With an intake and y-pipe perhaps a high-9 to 10-flat. Dunno, though. I track 1/4 mile times a lot more than 1/8th mile. Look up in the timeslip section for somebody with similar mods and see what they did.

i'm guessing the same as stevtec. I was pretty happy this past saturday though. I ran a 9.68 on crappy junkyard tires and the OEM clutch(140,000mi.)
