I just installed my v2 and am running 6psi, with grddey bov. Also have quaife and am running 17 in kumho 712's they suck--711's much better. any ways my car is I and friends think capable of 13.9-14.0. my best is 14.34 @ 99.8 with a reaction of .8 something--(it sux I'm new to the strip) with 60 foot of 2.2 something however I'm having trouble launching. @ 1500 rpm dump it bogs down at 2000 it spins uncontrollably and I have no speed so the 1-2 shift bogs down. Tried slipping it from 2000 but still same thing spin spin spin, the v2 makes big difference, and the car will lite the tires up with no problem even at 25 mph just floor it----spin spin spin, cool for the street but not for dragging.. I wanna get a 13.9 lik it is now... thinking tires is the only way???? help ??????

 

With slicks you'd be good for 13.7-13.6. Kumhos suck unless they're Victoracers

What track are you going to. If it's Osceola I'd like to meet up with you once before winter if the track is still open.

 

ya get some slicks for track day. they just stick
