My 1/4 mile timeslip....can i do better?

intake / y-pipe
this is my time slip...
R/T = .192
60'= 2.324
330= 7.249
1/8= 10.160
MPH=63.49
1000=13.906
1/4= 15.233
MPH=88.21
u think with a better launch and faster shifting i can hit 14's?

Definitely looks like your shifting is slow...
I'm a 5spd and I get consistent high 9's in the 1/8th...I've only got 15.4 in the 1/4.
BTW...I don't have a y-pipe. Last time I raced I only had a K&N drop-in filter.
Here's the slip listing of my best run with only the K&N drop-in filter...
R/T = 1.283
60' = 2.321
330 = 6.481
1/8 = 9.943
MPH = 70.96
1000 = 12.934
1/4 = 15.458
MPH = 89.25
I'm shooting to be in the 14s when I go out again in November...once I get a ypipe in spring then 14s will be consistent.
I've added a popcharger, midpipe, minor weight reduction and testpipe (not expecting anything from that).

How did you do that ? My max usually can add 19-20 more mph's to the 1/4 mile line. thats what i thought was interesting about the time. I thought your 1/8 mph quit low, but again Im new to all this.
good run.. work on the launch and you will get close to a 15.0

Yea you launched to early Kenny but that doesn't affect your times anyway. I don't know how you gained 25mph in the last 1/8. I only gain 18 mph and I run consistent 14.7s-14.8s with intake/ypipe.
Your mph is too ow also. Here, look at my mph and compare it to your slip:
.321
2.283
6.262
9.537
75.11<<<<<<<
12.357
14.762
93.31<<<<<<<
I gained 18.2mph
