It is a little slow but I know some of the tracks in california are at high altitude. What track were you at.

that's extremely high elevation. Good time for that elevation really! I ran a 14.7 with i/y at 350ft above sea level. Not a bad driver at all.

Thats still kinda of a high elevation. At sea level that would be a 14.75 @ 94.86 mph, so I'd say thats a pretty good time. This is according to NHRA's altitude correction factors.

wow! You got some crazy top end power. How is that possible?? 2.5 60' and a 15.2 in that elevation? that's pretty damn good if you ask me. With a 2.2 60' you'd be looking at 14.6ish. Lower elevation, maybe a 14.4. Your max is pretty damn fast for those mods.

to lower your 60' you have to get a better take-off the line. It takes practice to get it right. YOu can try revving to 2k and slipping the clutch trying not to break the tires loose. What kind of tires/rims do you have? If they are bigger than stock(15"/16") than thats a problem. Put your stock wheels on and lower the pressure to 22psi or what ever works best for you. Try differnt settings but there's no need to go below like 21psi. Some get the their best 60' times with 26psi.

yeah ive got stock 15 inch steel wheels. im not sure of the psi though.

ok so youre saying my 60' wasnt that good, yet i had a good overall time, thats why you say i must have a lot of top end power?

well dammit i am going to have to practice on that takeoff. i actually thought i was doing pretty good.i didnt have a whole lot of wheel spin, and i was out of there before the other guy pretty much every time.(except against a suped up chevelle, i knew i didnt have a chance with that one. he ran a 13.)

yea I've never seen a time like that with those mods. Work on your launch and you'll see 14s easily.

I mean running a 15.2 1/4 with a 2.5 60' time. I looked back at my timeslips and searched for all my 2.5 60' times. They were all in the 15.4-15.5 range. Plus you have a much higher elevation than my track. Mine is only 355ft above sea level. I'm not sure exactly what that traslates to in track times but it has to be at least .2sec difference.

So don't worry your car is making the power it should be making, probably more.
