96' I30 auto vs. 2k1 audi a4

My one friend was talkin a little trash about bein able to take people in his a4. He is stock from what i kno and auto as well in the 1.8T which i believe is either 160 or 170 hp. How would my car (96' I30 auto) match up w/ his audi a4? Thanks.

You should be able to take him pretty easily as long as he's stock and an automatic... they are HEAVY cars... however if he's got a manual it will be a closer race, though you will still probably win... if he throws some mod's on there, or gets a chip that ups the boost, or a boost controller... say goodbye.

Yah. Exactly what i was thinking too. No he is for sure auto cuz i've been in his car. and there was no additional boost controllers or anything of that sort. He is stock too from what i believe.......so maybe i'll throw down a quick bet and take him to the tracks haha. Thanks Bryan.
