Without much tread you've elimited tread squirm (bite) so perhaps back off on the rpm's or how fast you slip the clutch (if 5sp). The answer could depend on what rubber compound is left there and if the same as the original outer tread. Bald tires do not equal slicks.

Any chance you can sneak away saturday and come out to Byron? Neal is gonna be down and Brian is comming out with his Z. Weather will be perfect, 40's and sunny with a tail wind.
