Goin to track tomorrow (wednesday may 19)

Its finally time to hit the track again! Goin to New England Dragway in Epping and got a few new tricks. Cat-back with 2.5 piping is on, drop resistor mod will be used, inserts in the rear shocks to minimize compression on launch, and a a bunch of heavy duty zip ties on the front shocks to also help with launching. Any other quick helpful mods? I'm hopin for a sticky track with few people there (expensive gas?) to get lots of runs in. Hopin to beat my 14.66 time from last year, altho I'm not gonna remove my front passenger seat this time around... we shall see!

See my other post on my new PB at 14.469. It took me about 2.5 hours to get to the track from willimantic and I had to fight some traffic too. came out to 120 miles I think... bit of a drive, but oh so fun!

oh yeh i posted on that one . good damn numbers for stock. wow 2.5 hours i hope you got in a lot of runs. i normally go to englishtown which is about 45 mins from me. i went last week and im going again this wed from 5 to 10. im located in mtvn dont know how far that is from you but if your interested to show those numbers off at e-town your more than welcome. and just like me once you work on your 60' time you can get 14 flat or better.

I'd love to go to englishtown, but I believe its quite a drive also. My 60' wont improve much without weight reduction and/or better tires. I'm consistantly 2.25 to 2.3. Thats about all the stock tires are good for. With sticky tires, I think 2.1xx is definatly possible which could put me around 14.3's, maybe 14.2's... depending on other factors. I'll probly wait to go to the track again till I get a new mod (like those hotshot headers!). I'll also find out how far englishtown is.
