First Time Out..15.7 Help me improve!

Hey guys!
Well me and Tank went out the the strip friday night and made a few passes. It was my first time to the track ever. I was in street trim pretty much. I wanted to take the 18s off but a friend didnt bring his truck so i just left the 18s on. I took out the spare and the jack. Only got to make 3 passes but i had a passanger with me everytime.

First Run
ET 1/4 Mile...16.1904
R/T... .687
Speed.. 85.5
60 ft... 2.6

Second Run
ET 1/4 Mile... 15.65
R/T... .864
Speed.. 88.1
60 ft... 2.28

Third Run
ET 1/4 Mile... 15.7881
R/T... .916
Speed.. 87.5
60 ft... 2.306

I think i can do better. I need to work my my r/t. I think my 60 ft was pretty good that last two runs. All my runs i had an extra person in the car with me. Tell me hat you think. I was so nervous out there. My leg started cramping up at the light. haha but it was a lot of fun.

Third yellow light... step on it!!! This will bring your total time down a good amount... If this is practice, try to red light for once just to see how early you can gas it.

Ya i was thinkin the same thing. The track was very sticky which was good but i wasnt used to it since it was my first time out. The track isnt the best track either. Some people say its uphill. I think im going to go to a bigger and nicer track next friday and see what she does.

I would start with not having a passanger with you

improving your reaction time will not improve your elapsed time (ET) in the quarter mile. your launch on the last 2 runs was OK, not great so there is room for improvement there, dump the passenger and the 18s if you want to run faster.
