First time with S/C!

Friday night i ran my maxima for the first time with it being supercharged. I was pleased with my times, but i know there is more room for inprovement!

Here is my time:

R/T: .0209 (on a .000 tree)
60 Ft: 2.3539
330 ft: 6.1675
1/8 ET: 9.2521
1/8 MPH:80.04
1/4 ET: 14.1335
1/4 MPH:100.22

You should have seen the mustang guys faces! They were flippin'. I ended up beating two GT's and hung with two Mach 1's ( Bad drivers in Mach 1's) It was fun and ill probably go again this thursday. There is almost nooe there on thursdays, and its only imports and no drag cars, So if anyone in the Richmond, Va area wants to run got to Dinwidde on Thursday.

Pretty good times. I have almost the same set-up with the Stillen filter and stock exhaust (except y and muffler), but still have the stock 3.6 pulley on. My best so far is a 14.2@100. With a little practice 13's should be real do-able. You've probably found out that with street tires traction can be a problem.

i think if you are using stock pulley its fine but if you go anymore than that i would upgrade the exhaust to at lest 2.5"..

I knew that was going to happen!!!!!!! And a 3'' cat-back is going to hit the rear suspension. Stick with the 2.5, and go with a nicer muffler(N1+3''Catback= Rice!!!!!).

BTW I wish I had a 5-speed, if it wasn't for that I too would have been SC from the get-go.!!!!!!

how is the 3''+N1 going to be RICE. I have a cattman 2 1/4'' y-pipe right now, then going to put a 3'' high flow cat and a good size resonator in the b-bipe so it doesn't sound like a bunch of bees! And with the N1 muffler nicely tucked up. And if it ends up sounding like rice it will come right off, trust me! But while we are on the subject has there been anyone that put on a 3'' cat-back after have 2.5'', if so what kind of gains did they see. I know someone replaced there 2.5'' exhaust from the y-pipe back and gained around 20hp.

ehh...aftermarket exhaust is over rated. but yeah no doubt opening up the exhaust with the blower is good for 20-30hp.

i have been thinking lately and wondering what other mods could i do for about the same price and get the same results as the cat-back, and most likely get the cat-back later. The reason for this is that i love the sleeper look! I mean the max is a sleeper even with the exhaust, but no one even suspects it to be as fast as it is. But i think if there are any mods for roughly the same price that will give me the same gains i would probably do them first. What about afc? How much power could i get out of that?
