strange comparisons: your 60' times are .35 seconds apart, 1/8th are .3 apart, and yet almost the same ET? never seen that before, looks like if you'd nailed the launch on that 2nd run you woulda been at like 14.3.... according to the first run at least. But anyways, nice job

what on earth did you do on your second run to cut a 2.5 60' or is that just a typo?

and those time are about right for the mods you got. keep practicing and you might be able to hit a 14.5. also how do you like your exedy?

I'm really confused... the first time you listed is slower than the 2nd time you listed even though you say it was your fastest run of the day, and also your 2nd run was on a terrible 60' and is like .3 seconds slower all the way through the timeslip until the last half of the track where you somehow all of a sudden gain back .3 seconds.

This run is a little odd. The timer must have messed up somehow on that run because you ran nearly the same time with a 2.1 60'.

With my car, I trap real close to you (93-94mph) and my best et was a 14.740 with a 2.28 60' so it seems reasonable that you did a 14.6 with a 2.1 60'.

umm no....definitely not with a 93mph trap speed cause thats gonna get you a 14.5 AT BEST with a sick sick launch on street tires.

Your gonna need slicks and a sub 1.9 60' to get 14.3.

i was royally confused when I saw your slip saturday. there must have been an error with the timer. my slips have a wide range too, but not like that. looking at your traps im very puzzled. i have an intake and y pipe and trap 92.8 (at a slow 15.15). you have more mods, and DR's..posibly a lighter car....something is fishy.

you: me:
60- 2.516 2.439
330- 6.417 6.508
1/8- 9.717 9.860
mph- 74.92 73.40
1000-12.556 12.731
1/4- 14.672 15.152
mph- 93.00 92.81

same power? no way, you should trap much higher.

Yeah, I'm trapping 93-94 with 2.3-2.5 60's and only running 15.2 at best on 17" street tires

3324???????? wtf?

Is that with or without you in the car? How much do you weigh?

My 96 SE 5speed weighed in at 2,933 pounds without me and I removed the spare tire, jack, tools, passenger seat, rear seats, and I had 1/4 tank of gas.

Here's my theory. I use this method to help with track times to see what you should have run. This is not 100% accurate but it seems to work somewhat:

90mph should run ABOUT 15.0 sec.
100mph should run ABOUT 14.0 sec.
110mph should run ABOUT 13.0 sec.

This is considering your 60' time is between a 2.0-2.4. I noticed that with cars that get sub 2.0 60' times, there is a .5 sec difference in et's. Most of those cars are AWD.

I got this "theory" from experience. For examply, when I trapped 90mph last year, my friend trapped the same 90mph in his stock Talon tsi awd. My best et in my car was a 15.067 with a 2.32 60' time. His best et was a 14.515 with a 1.89 60' time. Even though we are the same speed, he runs .5 quicker than me in the 1/4 because of his 60' times. We race from a roll and we are dead even the whole way.

Hope this helps.
-Paul
