Top 10 4th Gen 1/4 mile Maximas

I put together a page for the almighty 4th generation Maxima 1/4 mile drag racing times. Its a quick and easy way to see many of the mods, timeslips and to compare the cars. Quite a bit of discussion can arise looking over the mods and such vs. times.

Going to do my best to keep it updated, instructions are on the page. Its also a neat way to keep us shooting for even faster times ( competition) creating the ultimate 4 door sleeper. It will also be interesting to see if the list is compiled with nothing but 13 second 4th gens a year from now, with help from the vq35de.

Anyways enjoy the page !

I think its great what ceasar has done perfect way to challenge people and to keep track of whats up in the 1/4.

But i would like to see the same list made for boosted cars also. Im hoping next year my NA max could be in the top 5 on a boosted list

We should Expand the list to top 20 or just have an list in general. So we can know who runs what time and their setup. I tried a thread like this a couple weeks ago but i didn't work

So all 4th gens are admitted in there, right? Even with full VQ35DE's? If so, I should be there next year (Full VQ35 swap w/Cattman headers/hiflowcat/catback/CAI)

Tilley's already there... and vasily when he does go to the track... hell alot of people are swapping VQ35's.

It's not hard to believe that bolt on 3.5's in 4th gens SHOULD get into the 13s.

I think a stock 3.5 with a manual transmission should be a high 13-second ride w/ the right driver.

EDIT: in a 4th gen that is.

Ceasar, if I bust 14.1s or better, will you alter the list to include me? The fastest NA VE ever is 14.3s. So you won't have to worry about other NA VEs, just me!

I wonder how many 3L 5th gens are making this list. B/c if you include me, I guess you have to include 5th gen 3Ls too. I want to add more goals for this Jan or Feb. I plan to be the fastest NA VE ever, including MT and AT. I plan to be the fastest NA 3L automatic ever... I think officially, it's 96sleeper that has that record with 14.2? But I've heard one unofficial claim of 13.8 for a NA VQ Auto 4th gen. But he can't provide a timeslip. Also, I would like to be on this list too.

Why not just let him leave this fastest 4th gen list and he can start a Fastest 3.0 N/A maxima list. VG/VE/VQ included.

Shoot, you crazy! lol I will easily make this list by Feb. I have a LOT of stuff already in the works or already completed! I dare say I will get 13s since that is a long shot, but 14.0s are very attainable. My total weight reduction since day one is 370 lbs! And I will also be pushing a lot more HP since when I ran 14.5. Respect da VE Auto!
