15 x 6 wheel too small?

Is a 15 x 6 wheel too narrow for track use? I'm thinking I can probably go up to about a 225.

Hey Mike im thinking about getting some DRs prolly gforces, but the only availble size for the rims im getting are 255/50/R16 do you think that is to big? or 245/50/R16 for 555 R nitto's?

You know what, after thinking about it, those tires are way to huge for FWD.
