Traction control
Can't yet post an original question so i will post it here.
I have an 05 SE Auto.
Regarding getting the most out of acceleration.
It is my understanding that too get most out of the engine i need to use at least 91 octane and use the shift-automatic.
Now the question, if i turn off the traction control and begin in first gear - i should not "punch it" because the wheels will spin too much - thus reducing my 0-60 mph time - correct?
With an automatic - starting in first gear - using the shiftmatic - wouldn't i accelerate more quickly with traction control on? Or does it reduce power to the front tires - thus ultimately slowing my 0-60 mph time?
