Well first of all they are BOTH boosted, the Maxima has 2 more cylinders, the Maxima probably makes more power, and he seems really confident that his car is faster than the SRT-4 he raced. Well his car's faster until his bottle runs out...I'd like to see a rematch without the nitrous so CMAX can prove me wrong

what nextel fone do you have, if you have one with a memory card, then you can just pop that in the comp, if not, try and send it in an email, i havnt tried that on nextel yet, i just have the mem card, so i just put that in the comp.

Fastest SRT-4 stock time=13.7
Fastest 6sp stock time=14.1
And both 'regular' times average around .4 slower than that in both cases. There IS NOT nearly 1 second difference between the two.
if youve ever been down a track .4 of a second in the quarter is a long time. And like i said in the post, juuuust next to one of those times ----> (Different sources, different times) in case you happened to miss that.

I'm with u on that one bro. Unless the kids clutch blew up, somethin is very wrong with that story. A stock srt with a halfway decent driver will give any decently modded max a good run for its money, thats just how it is.

and yes i have a 12 second maxima in case you didnt know. the 8 car win was with a stage 2 and the 2 1/2 car win was with a stage 4 no lies there ask anyone. i have video of both and the first one i sent to digital from a camera phone was to hard to download so now i have one with the stage 4 on a video camera that i have to work on downloading. if you can open the nextel vid i will gladly e mail it to you so you can see the true story.

These threads always turn into heated arguments. I'm very familiar with BOTH cars being a former Maxima SE 5spd. owner myself. Driver is everything.
I've seen bone stock SRT-4's run 13.7's @102mph before but at the same time have seen some ****ty drivers run 15's in them.
Given the situation, I would say it would be a close drivers race. Try and find out.

I think were arguin about the wrong thing. Some of us are debating on whether or not this kid could actually beat the SRT in a race, and the rest of us are arguin about whether or not the car itself can beat such a lightly modded '02
