A 6-speed with ONLY headers should be able to break a 13.99 with absolutely no other mods. Headers are by far the best mod for a 3.5. They actually make power.

so what other mods u have, besides I/H/E?
dynos?

most 5.5th gens with bolt ons and 6spds are lucky to even barely break into the 13s. or get like 14.0.
Intake and headers back, That's it. I had full interior, almost a full tank of gas. Spare tire and jack were still in the car. The video is on My350Z.com somewhere. I raced a supercharged G35 sedan that ran 13.4@106mph

I believe he at least matched that 13.4 with his 02 AT N/A didn't he? 13.4 seems to to stick out in my head... of course the 12.1 on the bottle does too.

I hopefully will be able to beat it to with the purchase of a udp, straight pipe, and technosquare ECU with rev limiter removed, and timing advanced. With the help of drag radials or slicks should land me in the low 13 high 12's bracket. As of right now my best trap was a 104.65mph.

Get an AFC, dyno tune, and L-spec ECU, I think those will be more benificial than a UDP and full tune TS.

Good point. People have managed to squeeze out some gains with AF tuning. Get it dynoed first so you can see the AFR to figure out if you need tuning or not. As far as I know, most VQ35s with headers have needed tuning.

You can leave those first two mods out and be just fine.

They are essentially the same except the V-AFC II has more precise increments for adjusting and you can use the RPM switch for your VIAs.

Damn it's crazy to see these 5.5 max's neck n neck with the stock performance of e46 m3's. I mean yea the m3 with some bolt ons would be on top again but ehh. Anyway, this is one of the reasons why i love max's so much and can't understand why ppl hate/disreguard them so much ( around where i'm at anyway ) everyones into hondas and what not.
