50 shot to the motor and intercooler

I was wondering how much this may help my track time. Ok Im more than capable of running low 13,s now. When I get my slick Im hoping to break into high 12's. But what if i added a 50 shot to the motor and sprayed the intercooler too. what do you think it would do then with slicks. That should put me at about 400whp and my car weight like 3100lb

probly a lot faster. you mean spray the intercool with that CO2/nitrogen cold stuff right (whatever chemicals it is, im not sure)? i heard that gives lots of power.

Do it and see what it does.

The regular 50 shot would do good things, I wouldn't even bother with the intercooler spray thing, I don't believe those are worth the effort. Even if they do work, it'd be pointless to do in conjunction with a 50shot to the engine.

well yeah im leaning twards doing the 50-75shot to the motor and maybe water/meth injection rather than the intercoller sprayer

if you do the meth or meth/water injection, just run straight methanol. i've seen cars pick up ~100 whp using it. it realy allows you to turn up the boost. a little more risky if the pump fails, but that won't happen if you buy quality parts and check them occassionally.

and the nitrous intercooler sprayers do work. like i posted in the other thread, i've seen an evo pick up 25-27 whp using the nx kit.

Is that from just the cooling effect on the air or is that after adjustments to timming and AFR?

i think it was a little bit of both, but mostly from the cooler intake charge. he was tuned and most afr/timing adjustments had been made. he didn't have an aftermarket ecu or piggback, so it was just with reflashes of his stock ecu. but it definently made a significant gain in power from the intercooler sprayer.
