If you want to see apporximately what you should be able to run in the 1/4 mile...

aaahahaha, my auto has 243-249 horsepower. awesome. im guessing theyre going by a 3spd transmission or something like that and we all know that more speeds makes different times.

that chart is completely useless. its basically saying that the 6spd guys running 13.8 @ 103mph have 250-280 hp...

Yeah. That's the point. If you want to know what it takes to get faster, it tells you approximately how much more power you need, or how much weight you need to reduce. If you think the chart is useless, than I think you are an idiot. Everyone that mods their car, and wants to ask "How fast will my car be after this mod?" will have a good estimate. How much fasster will the 6sp guy be if he adds a supercharger with an 80 hp gain?

The chart is based on cars going to the track with proper equipment. When you look at it in that light then the numbers all make sense.

It does not take into account a car that has no traction and spins. (ie street tires)

From my personal experiences that chart isnt dead on but it gets you in the ball park mostly.
