Tire Pressure?

Hey guys im prob going to the track on Saturday, and i was wondering what's optimal psi for Falken Ziex 512 in the front and back? I was thinking 20-22 in the front, and 45-50 in the back?

The higher the better in the back, as high as you are willing to go (though you won't see much difference increasing it anyways. I never touch the rear tire pressures because honestly it makes so little difference).

In the front I just run normal street pressure unless I'm getting wheelhop, if I get wheelhop I drop it a little bit.

I've never gone above 40PSI in the rear...and wow does it make driving home (if you can't be bothered lowering again after) a real task.

Usually sit @ 25PSI on the front...any lower and I tend to bog down off the line...maybe need more lowering / hard engine mounts / I don't know what.

It depends on how stiff the sidewall usually is. Just like everyone says, highest psi in the rear and for the front since they are still street tires... you can just leave them at 24-27 psi... These aren't wrinkle walls

Well...I run BG Potenza G3 235/45 ZR17's...Caesar tells me that the new T-1R TOYO tyre is much better though because it provides better wet weather grip, is lighter (I think he said) and has a much stronger side wall.

When I did my first 1/4 I found out later that my fronts were 15 and 17PSI...no wonder I a-ssed it.
