VQ Sentra w/100 shot and slicks :)

Well, we're going to hit the drag strip tomorrow with the blue VQ powered SE-R.. and looking to set another record. We were the 1st, and still the only B15 to break into the 11's (my 400whp B15 SE back in 2002). So, hopefully, we can be the 1st SE-R into the 11's too. The car has the following mods..

VQ35 swap
Nitrous Express wet kit (100hp jetting)
JWT 250mm/1200kg clutch
255lph pump
Fuel return line and regulator (sentra has a dead head system)
2 step colder plugs
Stainless headers and y-pipe
2.5" custom exhaust
Custom intake
Solid mounts
22x8 slicks

The car should go 12.80's @ 104-105mph off the bottle, and 11.70's @ 115-116mph on the 100hp jetting. Hopefully, I can catch traction on the slicks that I have. I'm probably going to launch the car, and spray it midway through 1st or as I go into 2nd. I think that once the car is hooked up, it shouldn't have any traction issues. Video's and time slips will be posted this evening. Wish us luck!!

What headers?, with the right combo NA that car should go deep into the 12's NA if its around 2500 race weight.

We have to use the SSautochrome VQ30 headers/y-pipe.. it bolts right up, clears everything, and the Y-pipe is only 12" shy of the factory catback. I know it's not the "best" setup, but it's better than stock for sure. With a 2700lb race weight, we've run 12.90 @ 105mph so far only cutting a 1.85 60ft. That was probably 230whp or so..

Well, we had a horrible night.. Track conditions sucked, and I don't know what I was thinking, trying to funnel that much power through 22x8 slicks. The best I could muster, was a 13.00 @ 112mph, spraying once I hit 2nd. Trying to spray in 1st resulted in massive wheelspin. Even still, with no nitrous, I couldn't get the car to hook in 1st. I've cut low 1.8 60ft times on these same tires with a stock VQ swap.. I guess they're just worn out, or the track conditions sucked. 80* and 100% humidity sucks.. that's for sure. So, we're going to step up to 24.5 x 9" slicks and see if that helps us get up to around 115mph, and some 1.7 60ft times. That should get us close..

Here's a few vid's..

You can hear me pedal it on the 2nd run.. it just would NOT hook for anything.

It's hot as hell down here.. and miserable..

The guy in the 5.0 was like... damn, you trapped a faster Mph than I did! I was like.. well, yeah, but you cut a 1.7 60ft! That's ok though.. 24.5x8.5's will be here soon on some custom Bassett wheels.

Exactly why I never like to make predictions before hitting the track.

Nice trap though. What track was that?

Great running car man! No Problem is a fast track. I was there with a friend for a Thunder Racing shootout, and we ran 3-4 tenths and 3 MPH faster there than we did here in Oklahoma.

Lately, it's been going downhill.. They are slacking on track-prep, except before major events. I remember when it first opened.. people were breaking rear-end's left and right.
