Not by much but still the record (for now). Full interior and stock rear wheels.
Still haven't been to a dyno because I have a few more things to do and I am only going once.
Weather was not bad but there was about a 10 mph headwind so it didn't help.
Today I am trying out the 3.5" MAF shown in my avatar. I cut out the 4th Gen maf and installed in 3.5" aluminum tubing.
BTW this run was done with the FWD IM.
PS 54 runs so far with the 3.5 and the auto is holding up fine. Still shifting a 6k though I have to raise the limiter and get my shift mod working to get the most out of this. Most of these were races, yesterday was my first T&T from 10-4 then from 4-10 was the race so I went for the day.

you definetly need that mod for your transmission. Unless you want to do it the old fashined way??
Me doing it manually makes it shift 300rpms later, which for you might lower your time .2-.3 because you have 500+rpm left after 6000. The only downside is hitting fuel cut off. With some practice you'll rarely hit it.

I got no gains on the dyno from race fuel, I've only used it sometimes to get rid of my pinging problem. Also be careful not to use too much, I did that the other night at the track and I think it actually slowed me down.

Matt doesn't plan on stopping there and neither do I, its not a war its just fun trying to get the most out of a car. I usually end up with a good time and a slower mph which I think is better than the reverse, it shows you are getting the most out of the engine. In this case we have virtually the exact same in both categories so I guess that says something. Besides competition is good for the soul.

After today.. I am close.. with a 3L!!

Won't quite catch you guys though I think... 12.8's might be just a tad far.. but we'll see by season's end.
Great job though Jime. Don't mean to take anything away from your results. Man the Maximas are just getting better and faster with age!! lol.

That is awesome! I'm interested in your results with the bigger MAF.
Also, with your TC, do you actually see 3400 on the tach when you launch it off idle? Also, can you stall it up that high while holding the car still with the brakes?
I have a Edge Racing TC also and he got me about 2900 brake and flash stall with what I can see on my tach. My stock brake stall was 1800.
